I recommend arriving even earlier because Disney often lets guests into the park before Early Theme Park Entry officially begins, and rides typically start running right at the Early Entry time.

On our most recent trip, we rode multiple big attractions every morning. The rides that typically jump to 90+ minutes, without ever paying for an Individual Lightning Lane. Disney Swan and Dolphin Hidden Perks #2 — Walkable Park Access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios

Right after early entry, the next biggest Disney Swan and Dolphin hidden perk is how easily you can walk to two major parks: EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Once you stay in this area, it’s hard to go back to relying on buses every morning.

From the resort, it’s less than a 10-minute walk to EPCOT’s International Gateway and roughly a 15–20 minute walk to Hollywood Studios. You can also hop on the relaxing Friendship Boat if your feet need a break.

For our family, this walkability has completely changed how we tour Disney. We can leave whenever we want, skip the long bus lines at park close, grab snacks at the BoardWalk on the way back, or make a quick return trip in the evening for fireworks. On our Epcot and Hollywood Studios days, it was easy for us to go back to the room to rest, or my kids to swim mid-day. It makes the whole day feel flexible instead of rigid.

You get access to multiple pools shared across both resorts, including:

• The large grotto pool with waterfalls
• A water slide (great for kids)
• Hot tubs and quiet pools
• Plenty of shaded seating
• Poolside drinks and easy dining options

Our teens thought the water slide was a little slow and not quite tall enough for what they enjoy at this age, but they loved swimming under the waterfall and exploring the grotto area. That ended up being their favorite part of the whole pool setup.

We were also surprised by how many chairs and loungers were available. There were endless spots to sit, relax, or spread out. Towels were provided at the pool, so you never had to carry them back and forth from the room.
