Eating gluten-free at Disney World is much easier than most families expect. After four week-long Disney trips navigating the parks gluten-free, I’ve found that every park has safe, fun options including Dole Whip, Disney popcorn, macarons, frozen drinks, allergy-friendly donuts, and even gluten-free churros. If you’re looking for the best gluten-free snacks at Disney World, this park-by-park guide covers the snacks we’ve actually eaten, where to find them, and which ones are most worth prioritizing.
Disney is one of the most accommodating places we’ve visited for food allergies. Whether you’re managing celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or avoiding gluten for another reason, cast members are usually great about checking ingredients, offering allergy menus, and helping families find safe options without making the experience feel restrictive.
In this guide, I’m sharing the best gluten-free snacks in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, plus a quick recap you can screenshot and answers to common gluten-free Disney questions.

On my daughter’s 8th birthday at Akershus, we were even able to order a gluten-free, dairy-free, artificial-dye-free cake so everyone at our table could celebrate together. Disney truly goes above and beyond when food allergies are involved, and moments like that are a big part of why I trust Disney so much with allergy-friendly dining.

Before we jump into specific parks, remember this: almost every stand or quick-service spot has an allergy-friendly menu available upon request. Cast members are fantastic about checking ingredients or grabbing a chef if you need extra reassurance.
If you want a full breakdown of how Disney handles allergy-friendly dining, I also shared more about how Disney handles food allergies across the parks and resorts.
Disney also takes food allergies seriously, and their official Special Dietary Requests page explains how their parks and restaurants handle ingredients, allergy protocols, and chef communication if you want more detailed planning information.
Now let’s start with the classics. Here are the best gluten-free snacks at Magic Kingdom and where to find them.
If you are planning your trip, I also shared all of our go-to meals, snacks, and ordering tips in our full gluten free Disney World guide.
Gluten-Free Snacks at Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom has some of the most iconic gluten-free snacks at Disney World. From refreshing Dole Whip to savory favorites tucked around the park, there’s no shortage of safe, delicious options here.
You can also preview menus and allergy notes for most restaurants on Disney’s official dining page before your trip.
My Top Gluten-Free Snacks to Try at Magic Kingdom
🍍 Dole Whip — Aloha Isle (Adventureland)
Naturally gluten-free and naturally delicious. This is my go-to Disney treat! On our last trip alone I had it as a classic pineapple swirl, a pineapple–vanilla twist, and as a Dole Whip float with pineapple juice. All of those are gluten-free when served in a cup. The line at Aloha Isle can get long, but it’s worth it for at least one Dole Whip moment.

🍗 Turkey Leg — Liberty Square Market
The giant, smoky turkey legs are gluten-free. It’s a great protein-heavy option if you need something substantial between rides.
🍫 Allergy-Friendly Mickey Brownie — Main Street Bakery
A fudgy brownie that’s gluten-friendly and shaped like Mickey. Great for kids who want that “Mickey-shaped treat” moment. Not all bakery items are allergy-safe, but this one typically is. Always double-check with cast members.
🍚 Rice Krispie Treat – Main Street Bakery (Starbucks)
Main Street Bakery (the Starbucks on Main Street) usually has individually wrapped crispy rice treats that are labeled gluten-friendly. In fact, they are in all the Starbucks in each park. I’ve grabbed these several times as an easy snack with my coffee. Because they’re pre-packaged, they’re a nice lower-risk option if you’re worried about cross-contact in the bakery cases.

If you’re planning to stop here anyway, here’s exactly what I’ve found (and what I skip) at gluten free Starbucks in Disney World.
🍨 Ice Cream Cups — Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (Main Street, U.S.A.)
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is one of my longtime favorite gluten-free stops at Magic Kingdom. They can serve any of their classic ice cream flavors in a cup (not a cone), and they’re excellent about allergy procedures with clean scoops, separate toppings, and checking ingredients when needed. It’s a perfect cool-down treat if you want something sweet but simple, and it’s right at the end of Main Street with a view of the castle.
🍦 Soft-Serve Ice Cream (Cup) — Storybook Treats
A simple, safe staple when you need something sweet and cool. The vanilla, chocolate, and fruit sorbets are gluten free.
🍿 Fresh Popcorn — Park wide Carts
The classic yellow Disney popcorn is naturally gluten-free and made with coconut oil. It’s also one of the best budget-friendly snacks in all the parks and one of our family favorites. We always buy the refillable bucket on the first day, and get it refilled each day for a very low cost.
🍦 Mickey Ice Cream Bar — Parkwide Carts
The classic Disney treat and one of the easiest gluten-free snacks in Magic Kingdom. Pre-packaged, safe, and perfect for parades or a Main Street stroll.
🌽 Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes with Chipotle-braised Chicken – Beak & Barrel (Adventureland)
This Pirate themed quick spot in Adventureland serves hearty corn griddle cakes that are gluten-friendly. Mine was stuffed with shredded chicken, cheese, and veggies and hit that “real food” spot when I needed more than just a sugary snack and wanted a drink. It’s a fun savory option if you’re looking for something different. The theming is amazing and the servers stay in character the whole time. f you’re gluten free, you’ll be happy to know that every single food item at Beak & Barrel is naturally gluten free. I break down what I tried, and whether it’s worth the price in my Beak & Barrel in Magic Kingdom review.

Tips for Eating Gluten-Free in Magic Kingdom
- Ask for the allergy-friendly menu at any cart or quick-service window.
- Many items come individually wrapped to reduce cross-contact.
- Cast members are trained to check ingredients, so never hesitate to ask.
- Lines for Dole Whip can get long; mobile order when available.
Gluten-Free Snacks at EPCOT (What to Try in the World Showcase)
EPCOT is one of the best places at Disney World for gluten-free snacks because so many countries offer naturally gluten-free treats. Whether you’re snacking around the World Showcase or grabbing something refreshing between attractions, there are tons of safe options here.
My Top Gluten-Free Snacks to Try at EPCOT
🎀 Macarons — Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France Pavilion)
Most traditional macarons are naturally gluten-free since they’re made from almond flour, and EPCOT’s are delicious. Expect crisp shells, chewy centers, and rich fillings. You can buy singles or grab a colorful variety box for sharing.
🍿 Maple Popcorn — Canada Pavilion
A sweet twist on classic popcorn. Made from maple sugar and naturally gluten-free, this snack is an underrated gem in World Showcase. Great for walking between pavilions or snacking during shows.
🥔 Potato Latkes — Festival Booth (Seasonal)
During EPCOT festivals (especially Festival of the Holidays), you can often find potato- or veggie-based dishes that are naturally gluten-free. On this last trip, I had these crispy potato pancakes topped with a creamy herb sauce. They were warm, filling, and surprisingly light. These rotate each festival season, but there is almost always at least one GF-friendly potato dish worth trying. Always check the allergy binder at the booth, or ask a cast member.
Festival booths are fun but not always as straightforward, so I share how I approach them in gluten free EPCOT festival food and how to navigate the booths.

🍦 Gelato & Sorbet — Italy Pavilion
Flavors rotate daily, but many of the fruit sorbets and traditional gelatos are gluten-free. Stick with naturally GF options like lemon, mango, strawberry, raspberry, or classic chocolate.
🧋 Frozen Margaritas — Mexico Pavilion
Most of the classic margaritas, especially the fruit ones, are gluten-free. Perfect adult treat if you like slushy drinks.

🥑 Chips & Guacamole — La Cantina de San Angel
A salty, satisfying option in the Mexico Pavilion to go along with your frozen margaritas. Naturally gluten-free corn chips topped with fresh guacamole make this an easy, filling snack while exploring the World Showcase.

🍦 Mickey Ice Cream Bar — Parkwide Carts
A great cool-down snack while walking the World Showcase. Pre-packaged and gluten-free, making it an easy, trustworthy choice between pavilions.
🍿 Classic Disney Popcorn — Parkwide Carts
A perfect “walk around the world” snack. Fully gluten-free and ideal for refilling your popcorn bucket as you make your way through the World Showcase.
If Disney popcorn is one of your go-to park snacks too, I also shared more details in my Disney popcorn guide.

⭐ Bonus: Gluten-Free Beignets — Port Orleans French Quarter (Resort Nearby)
Not in EPCOT, but sooo popular with gluten-free Disney fans that it’s worth noting. These are fried in a dedicated gluten-free fryer and are one of the most beloved GF treats on Disney property. They are so good!
Festival Gluten-Free Options at EPCOT
EPCOT festivals (Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden, Festival of the Holidays) offer some of the best seasonal gluten-free snacks in all of Disney World. Keep an eye out for:
- “Gluten/Wheat Friendly” icons on menus
- Ingredient binders at every booth (ask a cast member)
- Pre-packaged GF desserts, especially during holidays
- GF drink options like frozen cocktails, slushies, and fruit beverages
Tips for Eating Gluten-Free in EPCOT
- The Japan, France, and Italy pavilions have tons of naturally gluten-free items.
- Festival booths always have ingredient binders, so just ask.
- Avoid cones and pastries unless they are specifically labeled allergy-friendly.
- Many packaged snacks in the World Showcase shops are labeled gluten-free (especially in Japan!).
- EPCOT gets hot and spread out, so plan frozen GF treats along the way.
⭐ Quick EPCOT Gluten-Free Snack Recap
Snacks I’ve personally eaten (recent + past trips):
- Chips & Guac — Mexico
- Popcorn bucket refills (parkwide)
- Potato pancakes (festival)
- Macarons — France
- Kakigori shaved ice — Japan
- Sorbet in a cup — Italy
- Frozen margaritas — Mexico
- Pre-packaged caramel corn — Germany
Gluten-Free Snacks at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is one of the easiest parks for gluten-free snacks because so many items are naturally gluten-free, especially frozen drinks, fruit-based treats, and anything from the allergy-trained quick-service spots.
Below are the gluten-free snacks I’ve personally eaten at Animal Kingdom across multiple trips, plus a few allergy-friendly favorites worth mentioning.
My Top Gluten-Free Snacks to Try at Animal Kingdom
🧃 Frozen Slushy Drinks — Various Carts (Africa, Asia, Discovery Island)
I joke that frozen drinks are my snacks in this park and honestly, it’s true. Animal Kingdom has tons of naturally gluten-free frozen lemonades, fruit slushes, and icy drinks that are perfect in the heat. Many adult versions are gluten-free as well (just avoid anything made with malt, beer, or premixed bases).
These are my go-to “I need something cold ASAP” park snacks.

🍦 Pineapple Dole Whip (Cup) — Tamu Tamu Refreshments (Africa)
You can get classic pineapple Dole Whip in Animal Kingdom, and it’s gluten-free when served in a cup.
Adult Upgrade: This is where you can get Dole Whip with dark rum or coconut rum and both are gluten-free! It’s one of the most fun adult twists on a gluten-free Disney favorite and a treat I get every time I’m in Animal Kingdom!

🍹 Night Blossom — Pongu Pongu (Pandora)
A cult-favorite slushy that’s completely gluten-free. It’s layered with sweet limeade and apple flavors, topped with passion fruit boba. It’s vibrant, icy, and one of the most refreshing drinks you can grab while exploring Pandora. A must-try for kids and adults.
🍩 Allergy-Friendly Donuts — Isle of Java (Discovery Island)
These individually packaged gluten-free donuts are a hidden gem. Soft, cakey, and surprisingly delicious for a packaged treat. They’re great with coffee and perfect for a quick “breakfast snack” before a safari ride. One of the easiest GF snacks to grab without a line.
🍩 Gluten-Free Churros — Nomad Lounge (Discovery Island)
Nomad Lounge serves gluten-free churros made in a dedicated fryer, which makes them one of the best gluten-free treats in all of Disney World. These are not the same as the regular churros sold at outdoor carts. Those are not gluten-free. If you’re craving a real dessert and don’t mind a short wait for a table or bar seat, these are absolutely worth it.
🍖 Baked Chicken Wings — Flame Tree Barbecue
Not quite a “snack,” but such a solid gluten-free option that it deserves a spot. Many of the wings and sauces here are gluten-free or gluten-friendly, and the cast members are fantastic with allergy protocols. If you need real food between rides, this is a lifesaver. Flame Tree Barbecue is also our favorite quick spot in Animal Kingdom to eat lunch.
🥭 Frozen Fruit Bars — Various Carts (Discovery Island & Africa)
Packaged mango, strawberry, and pineapple fruit bars that are 100% gluten-free. Cold, refreshing, and perfect for little ones when the heat gets intense.
🍿 Classic Disney Popcorn — Parkwide Carts
Like the other parks, Animal Kingdom’s popcorn is gluten-free and made with coconut oil. Lines are shorter here, making it easy to grab a fresh scoop.
🍦 Mickey Ice Cream Bar — Parkwide Carts
At Animal Kingdom this cold, pre-packaged treat is an awesome treat. Available at carts throughout the park, and perfect after Everest or between trails.
Tips for Eating Gluten-Free in Animal Kingdom
- Pandora locations (Pongu Pongu + Satu’li Canteen) have excellent allergy training.
- Look for individually packaged items to avoid cross-contact.
- Frozen GF snacks are your best friend here. It gets HOT.
- Cast members in this park are especially knowledgeable about allergies, so don’t hesitate to ask.
- If you want Dole Whip with rum, this is the only park where it’s consistently available.
Gluten-Free Snacks at Hollywood Studios (Best Allergy-Friendly Treats)
Hollywood Studios may be known for its shows and thrill rides, but it’s also a surprisingly great place to find the gluten-free snacks at Disney World. From Star Wars–themed drinks to allergy-friendly baked treats and refreshing slushies, there are several safe and delicious options scattered throughout the park. Some allergy-friendly items can be ordered through Disney’s Mobile Order system, which can save time during busy periods.
I share exactly how I use Mobile Order safely (and when I don’t) in my Disney gluten free ordering tips .
My Top Gluten-Free Snacks to Try at Hollywood Studios
🥤 Blue Milk or Green Milk — Milk Stand (Galaxy’s Edge)
A completely gluten-free and dairy-free frozen drink with a tropical, sweet flavor. It’s more of a slushy than a milk, and the fun Star Wars theming makes it a kid favorite.

🍫 Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Num (Gluten-Friendly) — Neighborhood Bakery (Pixar Place)
It’s a warm, gooey, deep-dish cookie. It’s labeled gluten-friendly (not certified gluten-free), meaning it contains no gluten ingredients but is prepared in a shared kitchen. This is the only thing on the list that I haven’t tried myself, but I wanted to include it for those of you looking for a bakery item. Many gluten-free guests enjoy it safely, but always check with a cast member if you’re sensitive.
🍦 Ice Cream Cups — Hollywood Scoops (Sunset Boulevard)
Several ice cream flavors here are gluten-free when served in a cup. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and fruit sorbets are typically safe. Specialty sundaes can also be made gluten-free if you skip the cone or cookie add-ins.
🍦 Mickey Ice Cream Bar — Parkwide Carts
Hollywood Studios gets hot fast, and a Mickey bar is the perfect gluten-free refresh. Find them along Sunset Boulevard, Echo Lake, and near Toy Story Land.
🍿 Classic Disney Popcorn — Parkwide Carts
Naturally gluten-free and made with coconut oil. A safe, easy snack that’s perfect to carry into a show or while waiting for Fantasmic.

🍓 Frozen Lemonade or Fruit Slush — Various Carts
Naturally gluten-free and great for cooling off. You can usually find lemon, strawberry, raspberry, or blue raspberry flavors depending on the season.
Tips for Eating Gluten-Free in Hollywood Studios
- Galaxy’s Edge is extremely allergy-aware, so ask questions, and cast members will check ingredient binders.
- Mobile ordering is helpful, but for allergies it’s often best to order in person so your meal can be flagged.
- Lines for Blue Milk get long, so go earlier in the day.
- Fresh fruit cups and gluten-free packaged snacks are easy to find if you look inside stores rather than outdoor carts.
- If you’re navigating strict gluten-free living, the Gluten Intolerance Group has helpful information about ingredients, labeling, and safe food handling at home and on vacation.
The Best Gluten-Free Snacks for Kids at Disney World
If you’re traveling with kids who are gluten-free, here are some of the safest, most kid-approved snacks across the parks:
🍍 Dole Whip (Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom)
Light, fruity, and fun to eat — perfect for all ages.
🍩 Allergy-Friendly Donuts (Animal Kingdom)
Soft and sweet, these are always a hit with kids (especially for breakfast-on-the-go).

Colorful, refreshing, and fun to choose flavors for.
🍓 Frozen Lemonade (Hollywood Studios & all parks)
A perfect cool-down treat between rides.
🥭 Fruit Bars (All Parks)
Safe, refreshing, and great for little ones with sensitive tummies.
🍿 Disney Popcorn (All Parks)
Gluten-free, portable, and the snack they’ll ask for again and again.
🍦 Mickey Ice Cream Bar (All Parks)
Cute, pre-packaged and gluten-free, making it an easy, trustworthy choice .
If you want something fun to sip between snacks, here are the best drinks at Disney World we tried in 2025. Because dining choices matter even more with dietary needs, I also shared our favorite Disney restaurants by parkand the spots we trust most.

Best Gluten-Free Snacks at Disney World FAQs
Are Disney popcorn refills gluten-free?
Yes. The classic popcorn sold at Disney parks is generally gluten-free and made with coconut oil. If you’re using a refillable popcorn bucket, the popcorn refills are the same gluten-free popcorn served at carts around the parks.
If you’re highly sensitive to cross-contact, you can always ask the cast member if a fresh batch is coming out. Disney cast members are usually happy to help check ingredients or answer allergy questions.
Are Dole Whips gluten-free at Disney World?
Yes. Classic pineapple Dole Whip is naturally gluten-free when served in a cup. Some specialty floats and seasonal flavors are also gluten-free, but it’s always a good idea to double-check the ingredient list with a cast member before ordering. Dole Whip is available in several parks, including Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Are Disney’s gluten-friendly desserts safe for celiac?
Gluten-friendly items are made without gluten ingredients but some are prepared in shared kitchens, so they may not be safe for highly sensitive guests. Always ask a cast member or request an allergy binder if you need extra reassurance.

EPCOT is often the top pick because so many international snacks are naturally gluten-free. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom also have excellent classic and specialty options.
Can I get gluten-free buns, waffles, or meals at Disney?
Yes! Most quick-service and table-service restaurants offer gluten-free buns and allergy-friendly meal options. Some offer allergy-friendly waffles. Always order in person (not mobile order) so your meal can be flagged as an allergy.
Where can I find gluten-free donuts at Disney?
Animal Kingdom’s Isle of Java offers individually packaged gluten-free donuts. These are perfect for coffee breakfast or snacks on the go.
Does every park have gluten-free snacks?
Yes! Each park has safe gluten-free snacks, from popcorn and fruit bars to unique drinks and packaged allergy-friendly items.

Gluten-Free Quick-Service Meals at Disney World
This guide focuses on snacks, but if you’re looking for full gluten-free meals, Disney’s quick-service restaurants are also very accommodating for food allergies.

🎒 Disney Travel Essentials We Pack Every Time
These are the items we always pack to make travel days smoother and park days easier:
🧳 AirTags in Every Suitcase and Backpack
Disney trips involve early flights, crowded airports, and lots of luggage being moved between buses, monorails, rideshares, and bell services. We put an AirTag in every suitcase, park bag, and stroller so we always know where everything is. It gives me instant peace of mind on hectic travel days and in crowded parks.
➡️ Here’s the exact AirTag 4-pack we use.
🔋 Portable Charger (A Must!)
Between Genie+, Mobile Order, taking photos, and checking ride wait times, phones die FAST in Disney. A portable charger is an absolute must. I have had several over the years and this is hands down my favorite.
➡️ This is the portable charger we bring.
🧣 Cooling Towels for Hot Months
If you’re going anytime between March–October, cooling towels make waiting in outdoor lines so much easier for kids and adults.
➡️ These are the cooling towels we use.
🦶 Epsom Salt Foot Gel for Sore Park Feet (Our Secret Weapon)
Long Disney days = sore feet — especially when you’re walking 20,000+ steps around the parks. We bring this Epsom Salt Foot Gel on every trip because it’s instant relief without needing a full foot soak. After a day in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, this is the one thing that makes our feet feel normal again. We keep it in our Disney hotel bathroom the whole trip and it gets used nightly.
➡️ Here’s the exact foot gel we pack.
(and yes… we’ve used it more times than I can count!)
🌬️ Mini Handheld Fan (Lifesaver for Disney Heat & Sports Tournaments)
We’ve used this little fan for years at baseball tournaments, and it works just as well for Disney park days. It’s powerful, rechargeable, and gives instant relief during those hot mid-day lines at Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. It’s small enough to toss in a backpack, but strong enough to cool you down fast. We keep it in our park backpack and it always comes out during parades, outdoor queues, or long walks between lands.
